Phasor Solutions has developed an innovative approach to the construction of flat panel phased arrays allowing for a 10x reduction in system cost. This means that an entire phased array antenna can be built for a cost not a lot more than that of a mechanically steered parabolic reflector antenna of comparable performance.
Phasor is leveraging its experience from the broadband Internet access on trains market to also serve the much larger military and aerospace markets. By combining a modular and conformal system design with high R/F performance, Phasor’s antennas have the potential to transform the satellite communications-on-the-move and the phased array radar markets.
