A Phasor antenna consists of a number of smaller repeated modules.
Each module fits onto two printed circuit boards (PCBs). The upper PCB hosts the array of patch antennas on the front and Phasor’s patented ASIC microchip on the back. A second back-board provides the power, control and communications for the system. All this stacks up to be less than 1 inch thin.
Modules can be combined to create a larger logical antenna to meet the performance needs as required.
Modules can also conform and be shaped to any curved surface.
This means that the fuselage of a aircraft or the superstructure of yacht can be used to host the antenna – no more large heavy dishes, no more bulging drag-inducing raydomes. Just Connectivity Built-In.
